Chile 14 November 2007 Earthquake

Antofagasta Chile

A strong earthquake of magnitude Mw=7.7 occurred in Antofagasta region of
Chile on 14 November of 2007 (15:40 UTC). The focal mechanism solution showed thrust type faulting. The ruptured fault has an almost S-N direction.

Some people killed because of the earthquake and buildings damaged at Tocopilla.
